The 3-in-1 stock tank de-icer from API incorporates multiple temperature sensors to monitor water temperatures as well as protect against over-temperature conditions. Traditional de-icers use one sensor to monitor both water and heater temperatures. By requiring one sensor to do double duty, the water may be heated more than necessary. WIth the use of multiple sensors, the 3-in-1 stock tank de-icer improves temperature control while keeping the tank completely ice free.
The sturdy, finned aluminum base spreads the heat out to make the 3-in-1 series run cooler to the touch while putting the maximum amount of heat into the water. The unit can be safely operated in any plastic or metal tank without the use of a guard.
Convert the 3-in-1 stock tank de-icer to a sinking de-icer by removing the cover and float and turning the unit upside down to rest on the bottom of the tank. Sturdy feet support the unit off the tank bottom when operating as a sinking de-icer.

Bi-polar operation
The Speedrite 6000 and 6000i units have the bi-polar operation feature allowing you to reduce the fence voltage on any one wire.
The benefits of bi-polar operation:
Animals will receive a warning shock of up to 5 kV if it touches one wire, and up to10 kV if it becomes more aggressive and touches two wires.
The breakdown of insulators is slower, and the chance of sparking is reduced because only 5 kV is on each wire. This is important for dry areas where there could be a fire risk.
Useful in low soil conductivity areas, as the earth connection is less important when an animal is touching two wires
Cyclic Wave Technology
Cyclic Wave technology gives a cleaner and more efficient pulse that has a higher output energy than a standard
energizer. This means more voltage at the far end of your fence line for greater stock control.
Earth Monitoring
The 6000i has a smart function called the ‘earth monitor’. A red LED will illuminate whenever the earth voltage exceeds 800 V and by checking the LCD the user can determine at a glance the actual voltage being lost in the earth.
